Finally 04:50
Sometime. Never. Later. Whenever. They tell you that's how long it takes For a pot to boil or cake to bake. Well, China must out of rice And cats must all made friends with mice And Hell is surely serving ice Cause I think I just fell in love And it's nice. Often, you'll hear "No, sir. Never here." But when they say that pigs wont fly Just direct them to the sky. Cause China just ran out of rice And cats have all made friends with mice, And Hell is surely serving ice Cause I think I just fell in love And it's nice. Finally. Finally. Finally. Some stay together always and forever. Don't know if that's what Love will bring. But stranger things are happening. Yeah, China just ran out of rice And cats have all made friends with mice Hell will now be serving ice. I told you once. I told you twice. Stick around, I'll tell you thrice. What a surprising plot device. That I think I just fell in love And it's nice. Finally. Finally. Finally.

Well, look at this. What have we here? Who wants a kiss? Who wants a beer. Who'd I forget to make return my key? Who always used to love to say We'd live to fight another day? Who'll fight for love but who love to be free? Well, freedom's just the reason why Certain people say goodbye When other alibis come to an end. And that what I've been trippin' on Since the day you said you're gone, Promising "Never. Not Again!" Again. And now you're back from outer space A wicked grin upon your face. It seems to me I've seen that grin before. And what am I supposed to do? What do I sacrifice for you? Another tear? Another year? Or more? Well, sacrificing only pays On Tuesdays and matinees, Which understudies pray will never end. And that's what I've been waiting for By the old revolving door Where you're bound to come around again. Again. Well, the seasons they go round and round, The ponies they go up and down. We're caught up in that good ol' Circle Game. A game you're better at than me As any ones can plainly see 'Cause every time the game turns out the same. The winner always seems to be The one of us who isn't me, The one of us who ain't afraid to lose. And that's what I've been thinking of The battle between Life and Love And how I know I'm gonna have to choose. Again. Again. Again...

So many reasons. So many tries. So many seasons of Nos and Goodbyes. So naturally I'm wondering just how it's done. How'd you finally manage to run from "The One." How hard I paddled. How hard I tried. Just to get pulled back to you in a rip tide. All those swimming lessons at the YMCA, Learning how to get to shore but now how to just get away. Leaving the leaving, leaving the leaving to you. Oh, you. Because you'll do whatever you gotta do. What's so amazing, what's very "you" Is the dependable way that you come through. While others talk and talk about how they're moving on, You're pulling up your anchor and you're sailing off into the dawn. Leaving the leaving, leaving the leaving to you. Oh, you. Because you'll do whatever you gotta do. Lleaving the leaving, leaving the leaving to you. Oh, you. Because you'll do whatever you gotta do. Don't get me wrong! Though I sound mad I wrote this song, 'cause I'm glad. 'Cause I'm... Are you unhappy I'm not upset To see you sailing off into the sunset? You always said that leaving should be easy to do. Well it was even easier leaving the leaving to you. So I'm leaving the leaving, leaving the leaving to you. Oh, you. Because you'll do whatever you gotta do. Leaving the leaving, leaving the leaving to you. Oh, you. Because you'll do whatever you gotta do.

You're good-looking, baby. And you're looking for What you can't be certain but you know that you need more. But if you look to close you'll miss the forest for the trees. But I'll make you see, soon you'll agree That what you need is me. Life's a tricky journey, baby. Choice proliferates. Whom who choose is whom you loose for he who hesitates. But I'm here waiting for you, baby, and I'll always be. I'll make you see, soon you'll agree That what you need is me. So before You you try vain to adore Another fool or a bore, Another meanie whom you're heart abhors newly Try yours truly! Some don't do what's good for them because they fear the cost But I'd be nice at twice the price, there's little to be lost As if that weren't enough, you know the best in life is free! I'll make you see, soon you'll agree That what you need is me. So before You you try vain to adore Another fool or a bore, Another meanie whom you're heart abhors newly Try yours truly! In the end we're each alone when all is said and done. That's not to say that for today we shouldn't have our fun! There's good and plenty over here, now that's a guarantee. I'll make you see, soon you'll agree That what you need is me.

I don't know but I have found There are some people who can disappear without a sound. And maybe that was true for him. He's not the man he might have been. And if that's what you're thinking of, There's no doubt you had it rough. But that was then and this is now And I think I can show you how It sounds when someone stays. And you never have to say "Baby, here's to you And everything you do. I really hate to see you go. But when they ask me why, I'll say you said goodbye. That is all they'll need to know." I don't know but I've been told Dying young is preferable to growing old. And maybe sometimes that is true. Maybe it's even true for you. But if that's what you're thinking of You should know it won't be enough. No, I've been round that bend before So you will have to show me more. Why not give it a try? We could all use a good cry. Baby, here's to you And everything you do. I really hate to see you go. But when they ask me why, I'll say you said goodbye. That is all they'll need to know. I don't know but I have learned Some folks will play with matches even after they've been burned. And maybe that is true for me. But I don't want to wait and see. So if that's what you're counting on, You should know that I'll be gone. 'Cause there's one thing I know is true, It's that it's over when it's through. Think I just heard my cue. All together, one and two and... Baby, here's to you And everything you do. I really hate to see you go. But when they ask me why, I'll say you said goodbye. That is all they'll need to know.

When you wish upon a star Better know just who you are. 'Cause while it's sweet when dreams come true, Heaven help you when they're through. Dreams can take you far away. But can leave you any day. When you find your dream, lock it up tight. So nothing's gonna take it in the middle of the night. And if you love something, better love it fast. 'Cause nothing worth loving is ever gonna last. Inch by inch and row by row, That's how you make something grow. Every day, down in the dirt, Give that garden all you're worth. But when winter says you're through, There's just one thing you can do... When you get your wish, lock it up tight. So nothing's gonna take it in the middle of the night. And if you love something, better love it fast. 'Cause nothing worth loving is ever gonna last. Long ago and far away, Someone taught me how to play. He showed me the meaning of Sky below and Earth above. Here is all you need to know: Friends will come but friends will go. When you find your friend, lock him up tight. So nothing's gonna take him in the middle of the night. And if you love something, better love it fast. 'Cause nothing worth loving is ever gonna last.
